Yi-Tsung Lu (John), MD
Past Trainee (NTU, 2011)
Mentor (2018-)
Current Position: USC hematology/ oncology fellow physician
After graduated from NTU college of medicine, I was trained under the supervision of Dr. Tseng and Posadas as a postdoctoral fellow. I really had the honor to lead a multidisciplinary team in studying circulating tumor cells in prostate cancer patients. I subsequently received my Medicine training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and was able to continue my research interest after joining University of Southern California. Here, I am leading a project developing circulating cell-free DNA methylation signature to predict the risk of recurrence in bladder cancer patients. Looking forward, I will become a physician scientist with a clinical focus in genitourinary oncology and a research interest in liquid biopsy.
